This Stevens manufactured first variation buttplate measures 7/8" wide, has a more aggressive curvature and is for the very early Little Scout No. 14 1/2 single shot falling block rimfire rifle. This first variation buttplate is in good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with rust and possibly some pin prick pitting. (file photo)
